Regarding release of NuoRDS 3 for macOS Mojave.

The GM release of macOS 10.14 Mojave has brought a couple of unexpected issues that were not fixed by Apple in macOS 10.14.1 Mojave update. We are still working on these issues, therefore official release of NuoRDS v3.0 has been postponed. The BETA version of NuoRDS v3.0 is available for download here:

Below are issues that we're currently working on:

1. The new security policy requires user concent for sending Apple Events even if communicating processes belong to the same group of applications. In result, some components of NuoRDS Server such as NuoRDS Menu and NuoRDS Printer can not communicate effectivelly with user-level agent. It is hard to tell whether or not such policy improves macOS security. However, the current implementation of this policy rather makes system unpredictable than secure. So, we have to refactor all inter-process communications.

2. macOS Mojave does not allow to use user-level audio plugins as a "Default Output". In result, NuoRDS Audio plugin does not function properly. We've observed this issue in beta releases of macOS Mojave as well.

The current ETA for official release of NuoRDS v3.0 is Nov 20, 2018.
