Security Incident – NuoRDS Licensing

June 3, 2026

NuoRDS recently identified and contained a security incident involving unauthorized access to a portion of our licensing platform.

Our investigation determined that an unauthorized party gained temporary access to the NuoRDS licensing system and performed the following actions:

  • Sent approximately 120 fraudulent email messages related to license transfers.

  • Downloaded a file containing 112 user email addresses.

  • Downloaded 90 license files associated with customer accounts.

Importantly, no actual license transfers occurred, and no customer licenses were modified as a result of the fraudulent emails.

Following the discovery of the incident, we immediately revoked the unauthorized access, secured the affected systems, and launched a comprehensive investigation.

At this time, our investigation has found no evidence that passwords, personal information, or financial data were accessed, downloaded, or compromised. We also have no evidence that any of the affected information has been misused.

As a precaution, we recommend that users remain vigilant for unexpected or suspicious emails and verify any licensing-related communications directly with NuoRDS Support. If your license was unexpectedly blocked or you notice any suspicious activity related to your account, please contact us at support@nuords.com.

Protecting our customers and their information remains a top priority. We are reviewing and strengthening our security controls to help prevent similar incidents in the future.

We regret any concern or inconvenience this incident may cause and appreciate your continued trust.
